Surgery & Emotion and the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) are jointly organising a workshop on ‘Emotions and Team-Working in the Hospital’, which is taking place on Thursday 7 March 2019. Click here for further details about the event.
To encourage and widen participation, we are offering three travel grants to attendees. These grants offer up to £100 per person to cover the cost of travel to/from the workshop. If successful, you will need to purchase travel tickets yourself (in advance) and then complete an expenses claim form and provide receipts on the day of the workshop. We will organise for the University of Roehampton to reimburse these expenses.
To apply for the grant, please send us a 200-word statement outlining who you are, why you’d like to attend the event, and where you’re travelling from. Please send your statement to surgeryandemotion@roehampton.ac.uk by Friday 22 February 2019.
Following the workshop, successful grant holders will be asked to provide a couple of paragraphs about their experiences of the event, which we will then use for our website and in our impact case study.
